My Paintings - Introduction

Tutored by Peter Prewdergast, Wales finest Artist. I often heard him say that:

The best aspects of a painting were for the most part 'Happy Accidents'

I gave that statement a lot of thought and decided to create a style of painting that was a series of happy accidents. I love strong colours, but work predominanantly in Red's.

I also choose to work in watercolour a medium which is often thought, by many to be insipid. By layering the washes, wet on wet and letting the colour do it's own thing, I've achieved the results I was after.
